When Frisky's owner lost her home, so did Frisky.  When she first came to us, she was so upset that she wouldn't eat.  Despite fluids, appetite stimulants and a buffet of different foods, Frisky just refused to eat.  She went in to hepatic lipidosis, which is common in cats that have experienced a big change.  A feeding tube was placed and in about three weeks, Frisky came around and now is as good as new.  She does not do well with change and it might be best for Frisky to live out her days with us.
