Sweet Cheeks (formerly Soul Patch) was trapped in 2009 and brought to a kill shelter. The person that brought her in wanted her put to sleep so she couldn’t kill any birds. She was only 12 weeks old. The shelter refused to euthanize her and instead took her in where she greeted all the visitors, but was never adopted. She is now 10 years old and came to us in the hopes that we can find her a forever home.
Her name was Soul Patch because somebody at the shelter looked at her and said she’s sporting a soul patch. We thought the name was a little sad, so we had a contest and our community chose the name Sweet Cheeks for her.
She’s good with cats and dogs. She loves lap time, but doesn’t enjoy being picked up (it’s her only flaw!).
