Derek came to us with three other kitties (all adopted) after their owner died suddenly. Derek, along with 27 other kitties were left to fend for themselves until a neighbor remembered about the cats. All were trapped, attended to and placed in various sanctuaries and homes. Derek is happy with us, but prefers his kitty friends to humans. Heck, so do we most of the time.
