Happy Adoption Day, Bella , 1/20/26.
We are thrilled to share the happiest of endings for Bella, an 8-year-old sweetheart who has officially found her forever home through our Seniors for Seniors program
Bella came to us as a transfer from Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), unspayed and very sick. She was rushed into emergency surgery for a life-threatening infection called pyometra—and as if that weren’t enough, her enlarged uterus had twisted around a blood vessel. Without immediate surgery, Bella’s story would have ended very differently.
But Bella is a fighter. Thanks to quick action, expert veterinary care, and a whole lot of love, she made it through and began her journey to healing. And now—this resilient girl has the ending she always deserved.
Today, Bella is safe, cherished, and starting her new chapter with a loving senior adopter who will give her the comfort and devotion she waited so long for.
This is exactly why Seniors for Seniors exists: because older cats like Bella still have so much love to give—and deserve every chance at a happy ending.
Congratulations, Bella. We are so proud of you.
