Join us for our Paws for Hearts Walk-A-Thon to help cats with heart disease! Every step helps provide medical care, diagnostics and support for Ladew cats battling heart disease. Your participation will make a life-saving difference!
It’s no secret that walking is just plain GOOD for us. So why not enjoy the warmer temps of spring and help some cats in the process? You can walk as an individual or as a team. More details below!
***There are two ways to purrticipate:
-In Purrson: Saturday, April 19th from 12 p.m. -3 p.m. here at Ladew (34 Hamilton Avenue in Oyster Bay). Participants will meet up at our sanctuary at noon, go for a walk on our lovely waterfront as a group, and end up back at Ladew for light refreshments. Note: In purrson participants will also receive a limited edition 50th Anniversary tote bag! They will also be able to tour the sanctuary after the walk as well as take selfies with our giant cat.
-Virtually: You can walk wherever you are! Head out and get your steps in on Saturday, April 19th and feel free to send us video! Just let your sponsors know you are walking to raise money for the Ladew Cat Sanctuary and our Have-A-Heart program for cats with heart disease. You can also put together a team and really have some fun while getting some exercise and helping a great cause!
