Ten-year-old Lilo found herself at Animal Care Centers of NYC, unsure of what her future would hold. Senior cats are so often overlooked, but we knew this sweet girl deserved another chance at love and comfort.

Yesterday, 5/24/26, Lilo’s happy ending arrived! She was adopted through our Seniors for Seniors program, where her future medical care will be covered through participating veterinarians so her new family can focus on what matters most — loving her.

Seeing senior cats like Lilo get the second chance they deserve never gets old. Happy new life, sweet girl!
