Another one of our beautiful Scottish Folds from the Glen Cove house has officially left the nest! Sweet Macadamia has packed her bags and headed off to start her happily-ever-after on 8/25/26

When rescuers arrived at the house, they found mothers and kittens everywhere—not in cages, but in a confusing sea of little lives, with no way to know which kittens belonged to which moms. Two lactating mothers were paired with nine kittens in our care, and Macadamia was one of those devoted moms. We may never know whether any of the kittens were truly hers, but she and Cinnamon welcomed them all, nurturing and loving them as their own. When the kittens began losing weight, our team stepped in with bottle-feeding to give them the extra care they needed.

Through uncertainty, exhaustion, and a difficult rescue journey, Macadamia remained gentle and caring. Now, at last, she has her own safe and loving family—a happy ending she so deeply deserves. After everything these kitties have been through, watching each one find a loving home makes our hearts so happy.

Congratulations, Macadamia! Here’s to a lifetime of cozy beds, endless treats, and being completely spoiled—just the way it should be.
