Pistachio is HOME on 8/15/26!

Our sweet Pistachio, one of the kittens from the Glen Cove house, has officially been adopted — and we couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect ending. He’s going home with our wonderful volunteers, Dawn and Meghan!

Dawn and Meghan were part of the incredible team of volunteers who provided round-the-clock bottle feeding, nebulizing and care for these babies when they first came to us. They were so incredibly sick, and there were far too many moments when we truly wondered if they were going to make it.

Some of the Glen Cove kittens are still battling lingering effects of their severe upper respiratory infections, which we hope will continue to improve as they grow. But seeing Pistachio now — big, strong, healthy and loved — makes all those sleepless nights worth it.

From a tiny bottle baby fighting for his life to a happy boy heading home with two of the people who helped save him… happy life, Pistachio!
