Nutmeg is HOME on 9/6/26

Nutmeg is another one of our Glen Cove kitties who came to us with a terrible eye infection. Sadly, the damage was permanent and he has no vision in that eye — but that certainly hasn’t slowed him down.

After a recent visit with the ophthalmology team at LIVS, Nutmeg got the all-clear: no surgery, no treatment, just time to start his new life.

And yesterday, he did exactly that.

After everything these kittens have been through, watching them finally go home makes every long day, every medication and every worry worth it.
