Adopted! Sweet Senior Penelope Finds Her Forever Home

Our beautiful senior girl Penelope has been adopted through our Seniors for Seniors program — and it all happened at Whiskers in Wonderland™ 12/6/25.

Penelope came to us as a transfer from Animal Care Centers, and this gentle soul had been through so much. When she arrived, she was battling a terrible cold, severe dental disease, and a very painful eye infection. With time, treatment, and lots of love, her cold is gone, her mouth feels so much better, and her eye has been steadily healing.

Her wonderful new mom has already fallen head over heels for her and will continue Penelope’s eye treatment as she completes the last stretch of her recovery. This sweet girl is finally getting the comfort, care, and security she always deserved.
