Some heroes don’t wear capes—they carry cat carriers!

On August 4th, 2025, one of our incredible volunteers has opened their heart and home to not one, not two, but three of our most special cats.

Red is a brave tripod boy who lost a leg after being hit by a car, but he never lost his spirit.

Bean was found barely clinging to life in our backyard—but thanks to love, medical care, and sheer determination, he pulled through.

Ellis is living with a heart arrhythmia, but he’s thriving under the watchful eye of someone who truly understands what it means to love unconditionally.

We’re so grateful to Heidi for giving these resilient cats the second chances they so deeply deserved. They may have had tough beginnings, but now they get to write the rest of their story in a home full of love.
