Meet Sam.

Sam is an approximately 8-year-old Scottish Fold who was recently removed from the Glen Cove hoarding and breeding situation. While he is incredibly sweet, years of neglect have left him with a long road ahead.

Sam is not neutered and came in with a severe flea infestation, bilateral ear infections, an upper respiratory infection, significant painful dental disease, and a heart murmur. Next week he is scheduled for an echocardiogram so we can learn more about his heart and determine whether he can safely undergo anesthesia for the dental surgery and neuter he desperately needs.

Sam is just one of 10 cats we have taken in from this case so far, and we estimate his medical expenses alone will be at least $3,000 by the time his treatment is complete. The majority of the cats are all battling severe eye infections and upper respiratory infections.

The good news? Once Sam is healthy and ready for adoption, he will be available through our Seniors for Seniors program, where his future adopter can enjoy his companionship while we continue to help with his medical care for life.

Would you consider sponsoring Sam and helping him get the care he deserves? Every donation, no matter the size, will help us give this sweet boy a second chance at a healthy, comfortable life.

Please help us show Sam that his best days are still ahead of him.
