Happy Adoption Day, Westyon 6/28/26.

Westy headed home to begin the next chapter of his journey. This special little guy was rescued by John Debacker after being found with a severe injury to his front leg, and from the moment he arrived, he captured the hearts of everyone who met him.

There were concerns that amputation might be necessary, but thanks to expert veterinary care (thank you Animal Surgical Center), generous supporters, and Westy’s incredible spirit, he proved just how resilient he is. While his leg may not function like a typical limb, it helps him balance, play, and navigate the world on his own terms.

Now, the best part of his story begins.

Westy has joined former Ladewbies Jack and Darla, and we couldn’t be happier for this sweet boy. He has a family who loves him, feline siblings to show him the ropes, and a lifetime of adventures ahead.
