Mary was the beloved cat of one of our volunteers, Elise. Sadly Elise passed in 2020, leaving Mary and her 7 furry roommates. All have found homes through our Seniors for Seniors program, where we cover the reasonable future expenses of a senior cat adopted by a senior citizen — and if something should happen where the senior citizen can no longer care for the cat, the kitty always has a home with us. On Oct. 6th, 2022, Mary went home with Rose Marie. Rose Marie heard of the program and came to meet some of the kitties and just fell in love with Mary. It’s not hard to love Mary — she comes when you call her and is a chatty gal who loves a good conversation. We’re pretty sure she and Rose Marie will get along great and be the best of friends.
